Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2025 · VaultRx, a DBA of ShadowVault TCG LLC

By submitting cards to VaultRx, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before sending your cards in. If you have questions, contact us before submitting.

Section 01

Agreement to Terms

By completing and submitting the VaultRx intake form, you ("the Customer") enter into a binding agreement with VaultRx, a DBA of ShadowVault TCG LLC ("VaultRx," "we," "us"). These Terms of Service govern the restoration services provided by VaultRx and apply to all submissions.

Submission of the intake form constitutes your acceptance of these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not submit your cards.

Section 02

Services & Scope of Treatment

VaultRx provides card restoration services including surface cleaning, pressing, humidity treatment, indent correction, scratch reduction, and grade-ready preparation. Services are subject to intake assessment and are applied only where safe and viable.

Not all treatments can be applied to every card. VaultRx reserves the right to decline or limit any treatment at its sole discretion based on the condition of the card. Customers will be notified of any limitations before treatment begins.

VaultRx currently accepts Pokémon and One Piece TCG cards only.

Section 03

No Grade Guarantee

VaultRx makes no guarantees regarding grading outcomes. Restoration improves the physical condition of a card but does not guarantee any specific grade from PSA, BGS, CGC, TAG, or any other grading company. Grading decisions are made solely by the respective grading company and are outside VaultRx's control.

By submitting your cards, you acknowledge and accept that restored cards may receive any grade, including grades lower than anticipated, and that VaultRx bears no responsibility for grading outcomes.

Section 04

Inbound Shipping Liability

The Customer is solely responsible for packaging and shipping cards to VaultRx. VaultRx is not responsible for cards lost, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered during inbound transit.

All inbound shipments must include tracking. VaultRx strongly recommends insured shipping for all cards, particularly those valued at $50 or more. Failure to use tracked shipping releases VaultRx from any liability for lost or undelivered packages.

Section 05

Return Shipping

All completed orders are returned with tracked, insured shipping included in the service cost. Before and after photo documentation is provided with every return.

If a card cannot be treated following intake assessment, the Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. A shipping label payment will be required before the card is returned. VaultRx will notify the Customer promptly if treatment cannot be performed.

Section 06

Limitation of Liability

VaultRx exercises professional care in handling all submitted cards. However, VaultRx's liability is limited to the verified market value of the card at the time of submission, as determined by TCGPlayer and eBay recent sold data.

  • VaultRx is not liable for pre-existing damage present at the time of submission
  • VaultRx is not liable for grading outcomes or grade changes following restoration
  • VaultRx is not liable for damage occurring during inbound or outbound transit beyond our control
  • VaultRx is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or speculative losses including future market value changes

In the event of damage caused by VaultRx during treatment, liability is capped at the verified market value of the card at time of submission. VaultRx will work in good faith to resolve any such claims.

Section 07

Accepted Payment Methods

VaultRx currently accepts payment via Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Payment instructions are provided in the order confirmation email following intake assessment.

Full payment is required before treatment begins. VaultRx does not store payment credentials and does not process card payments directly. Customers are responsible for any fees associated with their chosen payment method.

Section 08

Treatment Consent

By submitting your cards, you authorize VaultRx to handle, assess, and apply the restoration treatments associated with your selected tier. VaultRx will not apply treatments beyond the agreed scope without contacting you first.

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the submitted cards or have explicit authorization from the owner to submit them for restoration.

Section 09

Turnaround & Communication

Standard turnaround is 5–10 business days from confirmed intake. VaultRx will communicate with the Customer at intake, during treatment if notable issues arise, and upon return shipment. Turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on volume and card condition.

VaultRx is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, unforeseen card conditions discovered during treatment, or circumstances outside our control.

Section 10

Abandoned Cards

If a Customer fails to respond to communications regarding their submission for more than 30 days, or fails to pay required return shipping costs within 30 days of notification, VaultRx reserves the right to consider the cards abandoned. Abandoned cards may be disposed of at VaultRx's discretion with no further liability.

Section 11

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the Customer agrees to contact VaultRx directly before initiating any chargeback, claim, or legal action. VaultRx will make a good faith effort to resolve all disputes within 14 business days of written notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Santa Clara County, California.

Section 12

Changes to These Terms

VaultRx reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of VaultRx services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
